 Now that’s what I call skill, they’ve managed to combine two pretty cars and end up with one ugly one. Doesn’t do it for me, especially when put next to the original, thats a gorgeous car.

Thats the Aussie effort to “improve” the looks of the MX5.

 

So far, we now have 3 reasons to avoid America, the UK and Australia. I think I can add valid reasons to not visit Japan, Germany, Poland based on dubious MX5 body conversions.

Reminds me of the “MG TD” that was built out of fibreglass powered by an electric motor, max. speed 50mph. Why on earth ? Sad.

Further to the speculation about Alpha/MX5 collaboration. An article on Motoring.co.uk forum showed an Alpha Romeo 4C,1.7l. turbo,296bhp,rear wheel drive @ £40K, still a rumour .

  Any one heard  more on this subject ?
