I am searching for a mk1 and ideally looking for a 1.8 manual. My budget is circa 3k and may stretch a bit depending on how far I’ve got to travel and condition. I’m not expecting it to be perfect at this price but really would like it to be rust free in the body dept.

Hi mate, are you 100% after 1.8 i am playing with the idea of selling a 1.6 eunos imported in 2003 with around 70K miles on the clock. 12 months mot from today actually. I am also located in mansfield it will be going up soon for sale on the forum if i finally make the decision to sell ! Change my mind every time I drive it !

Trying to find my ultimate 1.8 mk1 UK car is proving a bit difficult but I’m in no hurry. My main concerns when I get one is rust…soneth8ng you don’t grt much of on a lotus
