I have owned this beautiful MX5 Icon since September 2010, and I cannot believe there is a better example of the 2000 Icon anywhere in the country. Fastidiously maintained, cavity sections wax injected everywhere as soon as I purchased it. ALWAYS put on a SORN every winter or when the first bit of salt/grit goes down (paperwork to back that up). Always garaged and kept on a battery optimiser, started & wheels run every month. Tasteful modifications include a K&N intake & filter, Monza R wheels, Mazdasport strut brace (like hen’s teeth).
Documented history from new, all bills kept, cambelt replaced at 50,498 miles, new Panasonic OEM battery 15/02/19 (replaced original Panasonic)! The photographs were taken when I renewed the insurance, as it is on an agreed valuation with Adrian Flux.
Complete with Hard Top, HT cover, HT wall brackets, matching tonneau cover, proper OEM Icon floor mats.
Ideally, would rather sell my MX5 to an enthusiast who would continue to look after the car as it should be.
