To be fair I had my NB over 25 years ago, so my recollection may be a bit hazy. However when I drive the ND earlier this year it didn’t feel the same. The gear change, cosiness felt different. Is it me, or does the NB feel quite different?

The dynamic limits of the modern car will be higher plus it is a more refined beast than the NB.
It will largely depend on the dricer’s preferences as to which one is most enjoyable.

I went from an NB to an ND. Once I’d adjusted the seat, my hands naturally fell on the controls.
The one difference I noticed was that my face was much nearer the windscreen. It turns out that Mazda had managed to move the windscreen 3" nearer the driver than it was in earlier versions.
