I have a 2005 MX-5 import roadster, and just today I’ve noticed the left indicator staying solid when indicating left and then staying on even when stopping indicating. It goes on for a second or two, maybe flickers and then stays solid. All of the lights work but the ones on the left side end up just staying on. They eventually turn off when I flick the indicator up then down again but obviously it’s a pain.

I’m wondering if it’s a flasher unit like the one mx5parts sells? And if so how do I fit this? Or how else could I diagnose the issue?
