Wheels and tyres on. Test driven a few miles now and all good.

Can tell the difference between zestino and the michelins or even falkens. Ride comfort not as good but then they’re a stiffer side wall. No where near as ridiculous as the mrf were anyway so just takes a few clicks of the meisters now to soften it up.
Does rub a tad on full lock on the front left and I did hear it catch on the front down some bumpy b roads today. So raise the front a tad, add some camber and reduce caster a little I think.
Booked in for the 20th, for full alignment and corner weight.
Long day yesterday. Set off at 7am to Performance link in Tewkesbury and got home at 8pm.
Ride height set, alignment and corner weight now done on the Mazda. Was weird watching 2 identical twins go around the car asking me questions
Car feels great now. Managed to get it to 48/52 with me in it and just over half a tank of fuel. Incredibly it was 49.8/50. 2 without me in, showing how well mazda had done with the Nd.
Raised the front a bit, think was 8mm and gave it 5mm rake at the rear.
Camber is now 2 degrees rear again and 2.8 front. 1 degree toe in front and I can’t remember the rear. Caster remains at 6.9.
No catching anymore on the drive home, no rub on full lock and steering is bang on central.
Also chucked my coilover covers on to keep them in good condition.
So Curborough in the Mx5 was a massive YES. Absolutely mega day with a great mix of cars and blokes. Ranging from an Ariel Atom 2, A110R Le mans, modified purple exige, mini marcos and a load of other tasty motors. Think there were 4 MX5’s, 3 of which were NC’s and my ND.
The Meister zeta sport coilovers and Zestino tyres were faultless. I think I’ve found my ultimate ‘dual purpose’ setup for an arrive and drive track car.
The only scare I had was when the drone guy flew over me on my lap and I could only hear this whining noise, so as I do, I panicked, assumed something was up with the car and pulled in. There’s always at least one paranoid moment for me.
Think the highlight of the day was the drone, he was a professional with all the insurance and licences etc and he could certainly fly the thing.
I got a passenger lap out in the A110R and so glad I did, what an absolute weapon it is. By far the most composed car on the day. It’s a car I’d dream to own one day.
Looks like a fantastic day @DC04R, mega pics/video, i bet Curborough suits the ND. Glad you’re enjoying the new setup, very nice road/track balance you have there now. Did you play with damper settings?
Yeah can’t remember the clicks but was pretty much full hard on circuit after initially going out on 16 clicks back from soft which I used for the road leg.
