Has anyone had any work carried out by MX5 Parts servicing in Portsmouth?
been in discission about getting my ND under sealed and wondered if there were any recommendations from anyone out there?

I’ve had work done at MX5Parts and must admit they are a really professional outfit with a great deal of experience of working on the car. The labour costs are quite competitive.
Would have thought there was someone nearer you Able to carry out the work.
One of the club members nearer you should be able to give you some recommendation.

Have a chat to Doctor MX5 at Curdridge, not too far from you. He undersealed my Mk3.5 and appears to have made a good job of it…

did MX5 Doctor strip any of the underside panels and remove wheel arch liners as part of the process.
mX5 parts don’t and spend half day on it but having spoken to the mechanic he states that he can get to everywhere that is required as he knows the vulnerable areas.
he appeared confident that he could cover everything in 4 hours
in one way I’m happy that no one is taking my car part (as he feels it’s uneccesary) and they are an mx5 specialist but on the other every other car under sealer appear to take everything apart, even if they have never touched an mx5 in their life!!?
jeff has provided confidence over their competence re servicing just would be interested to know whether anyone has had their mx5 under sealed ?

Well took the plunge and drove my ND with only 9 miles on the clock down to Portsmouth on a beautiful sunny day and had the U dersealing carried out…
couldnt be happier… They were friendly , knowledgable and Sean the mechanic there took real care with the car and talked me through everything he had covered.
For the price I would highly recommend.
Roof down on the way home… What more could I adk for

Sorry I didn’t see this sooner Ian, and pleased you’re happy with their service.
The man at Doctor MX% reckoned it would take (just) him a full day, maybe a day and a half if it needed cleaning first. All undertrays removed and underseal applied, and because the car was so clean underneath he didn’t need to do anything other than a brush down and spray. With two of them on it it took them most of one day.
