My Alarm keeps turning itself on

Hi everyone,
I’m new to the forum and would appreciate your expert help!

My standard factory alarm system keeps turning itself on with no interference from wind or human/wildlife activity. Unfortunately the alarm seems to enjoy ringing in the day at around 4am.
I am desperate to get it sorted else I will have to leave it unlocked whilst parked on the road.

It had a new battery when the alternator belt went in January.
Just passed its MOT with no advisories and all other electrics seem to be working just fine.
Lights flash when the alarm is ringing, adding to the fun.

Any advise or suggestions would be gratefully received!

This happened to me and was caused by a problem with one of the door locks (and/or the microswitch it operates to arm/disarm the alarm). Solution for me was to fit a second-user set of door locks from eBay. You may be able to get away with just replacing the micro switches: depends on exactly where the fault is
