SOOO, i havent updated in a while, since my last post ive been thinking about breaking the car for parts and getting a sbody, but after alot of thought ive decided to keep the lil mx and go balls out on it. shame i decided todo this AFTER i sold my cusco cage Cry
first of all to sort was my deglect through the winter so set about changeing the plugs, oil and rocker gasket.
there was oil all over the plugs hence the rocker gasket change (was realy brittle and fook (pic below)
oil pressure on my gauge has gone down which is abit conserning but ill see what happens.
so i thought id post up afew pics of the mx and the “small” list of things to come to get it ready for the summer.-

Looks too shiny to drift.

S-bodies are overated - I’ve had 2 and driven loads, and I prefer my MX5 for drifting. Plus it isn’t always broken like Nissans are.

This is me qualifying 12th against 30 Nissans:

Can I have first dabs on the Watanabe split rims if you ever sell them? Wink

[:D] that was a fun day. My last competition - 13th place at the final round of the 2009 BDC.

Thanks again for filming those runs. I wish I’d got someone to video the 70mph corner at Lydden Hill. Llandow is just power and steering after entering the first corner.
