My First MX5 (MK1)

hello, ive just bought this little mx5 and im thinking about doing a few little things to make it my own. if anybody can tell me who made the induction kit and wheels, it would be much appreciated. thank you!

Who made them!? Not sure if you are taking the pi$$, but looks like K&N and Enkei to me.

Not seen that induction kit though - looks good as it has a decent cold air feed. Any more info would be nice!

im not that blind to miss the stickers on the feed and wheels, but after all they are only stickers and can be bought off ebay and stuck onto anything. so i was just wondering if anybody had any better idea.

well ive joined clubroadster.net and been given some great ideas, and ive been told the the induction kit could be a rather rare one made by d-technique. ive made a few allterations and cheap modifications as the following pictures will show

relocated number plate

drift charm, removed aerial & new hood

Looking good, much cleaner with the plate relocated Thumbs up

Looks good !!! Much prefer the front numberplate like that. Thumbs up

well i like to think that ive had a productive weekend, finally got round to installing my coilovers and new wheels. had a little time to de-tango the side lights too.

new wheels and lowerage look great, is it my monitor or do front bumper and bonnet look slightly diff shade of red in the pictures? maybe a good buff/polish would help?? apologies if already mentioned

 Addictive…is’nt it Salute

sadly they are a different colour, it could do with a full respray but i dont have the time or funds to get that done, its had a good buff but sadly it doesnt help it too much. im not that fussed by it now, ive got use to it so not too worry.

Congratulations, your motor is looking good. I hope the colour variation does’nt start to get on your wick before you gather the funds for a respray.

if it does, i will just have to shut my eyes when im around the front of the car Wink

 that looks lovely mate

cheers matey, still got a few plans but funds are a bit low…so it may not change its looks for a while
