My MX5 TLC & refurb!

Hi all,

Had a company vehicle for last few years and decided it was time for something for the weekend (and more!!).

Not my 1st 2 seater/soft top but 1st MX5, 2002 mk2.5 1.8 Arizona.

Bit of a bargain (I think!) and needs some TLC/works, wheels cosmetically shot, arches showing bit of rust at the 12 o’clock and paintwork bit neglected and dull.

Anyway, pics as I got it…

 

Weekend cleaning and polishing, tinkering and fettling, added a stainless grille, stock speakers replaced with Alpine 5x7, Sony head unit on its way

 

 

I collected a set of 15" Momo alloys at the weekend after winning bid on ebay and will be replacing the pictured wheels

As my OP, I’ve had other 2 seaters/convertibles but nothing has come near the fun of the 5

Plus I’ve seen 4 other 5’s on my way home and we all waved
