After a handshake to seal the deal; she was mine (although do you ‘own’ or do you ‘adopt’ a 5?)! I wasn’t able to pick her up for a couple of weeks, and so I took this picture to remember her during those painful days apart…
My first day with the beaut that she is. I promise that the top was down all day, but this was taken at bedtime and so she was all set-up for the night… I couldn’t resist giving her a little goodnight cuddle! (Is it just me, or do the cars in the background look a little jealous of her good looks??)
I’ve now owned her for 9 days, and I have never been so chuffed with a car (or anything I have ever purchased). Wow, and don’t they just drive like a dream! I have to confess that I have contracted the MX5 Owner condition of ‘Smug Smile’ - I just don’t seem to be able to stop myself. Facebook, text messages and conversations with friends and family seem to be saturated with details of my new obsession. When I am not driving her, I am thinking about driving her, or all the things I want to do to make her even better… a new hood is very definitely the first thing on the list!
Anyway, I just wanted to share these pics as I was asked to do so on the New Members Intro Forum section. She’s my new shiny thing, and I am totally bewitched!
