I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on:oil leak
Hi all, I’ve got a oil leak which is a surprise as last summer the car had new front and rear crank seals, new gearbox seals, new cam angle sensor seal, new water pump and new rocker gasket…I can only imagine it’s the sump gasket but not sure if they’re typically a problem, anyone had similar?
You can only do the checks yourself. Find out if it’s dribbling down from any of the seals you mentioned and collecting on the sump.
Whoever did the work previously what gaskets have they used, is everything torqued up ok?
Clean and inspect.
No gaskets changed, just seals and all pucker parts from either Mx5 parts or Mazda. My question was really about what else it could be and all I could think was a leaking sump
