NA front wing mounting

Hi.
Should there be any sort of sealant or gasket between the front wing and the inner wing where it bolts together under the bonnet?

There is a foam strip between the wing and the nose cone. I only know this as mx5 parts sell it as an oem part and I bought one. A small bit of foam sticky on one side did turn up in a Mazda parts bag and I have duly fitted it.

Once upon a time MX5 parts could tell me the NA came with a cow and I’d try and fit one.
