I’m wanting to do a gentle (yeah right) track day in my car and I wonder does or has anybody any experience of the Nankang NS-R2 tyre ?
They’re a moderate price and “read up” to be sticky enough when warmed up obviously.
Has anybody run them on track and if so, I’d like to hear your opinion

You will be fine. You will find them noisy and you will require more care in the wet than decent “standard” tyres.

Thanks Nick, they will only be used for a track day (or two) depending on how long they last and will be on a spare set of wheels.
I can live with the noise in that case. I’ll pray it stays dry on the day too

I agree with Nick.
I have used them as road tyres and Hillclimbing on a Mk1. ( Summer use only )
Excellent in the dry but need care on greasy damp surfaces.
They have lasted quite well on my car.
Yes they are Noisy !!!
