National Trust, Croome

Only One week to go before the event. We will hand out copies of the route and list of activities on the day. Don’t forget we meet at 9,45am at Frankley Services Southbound M5 B32 4AR.

Roy & Lynn are planning to visit the National Trust at Croome, Worcestershire on Wednesday 19th April.

We will meet up at Frankley services, southbound M5 at 9.45am leaving at 10am for a drive down the A38 then onto the Evesham road, turning off through Pershore. RAF Pershore was the partner airfield to RAF Defford during World War 2. RAF Defford was on the site of Croome and there is a very interesting museum. There is also of course Croome Court and the grounds to visit. So there is something to interest everyone.
The visit will be followed by a meal at a nearby Toby Inn. We have dined here ourselves and we found it to be one of the best carveries that we have visited. When booking please state if you will be dining so that I can let them know the number of diners.
Open to all members but there will be a limit of 12 cars on the run so it will be a case of first come first served so please add your names to the list as soon as possible.
List of entries:
Roy & Lynn
Derek & Janet
Mike & Margaret
