Great stuff thanks Robbie

What is the Nav like in the ND? We have Mazda Nav in our 2017 CX5, and it is awful. It is a joke as everytime we use it as you need to sanity check where it is taking you, and even if it gets you to the right area, no guarantee it will take you to the correct street. Usually finish a journey with Google Maps on the phone.
As for the voice recognition…
“DRIVE TO BRIGHTON”
“OK, CALLING DAVE MOBILE”
Arghhh!!!
My BMW system is almost flawless. The Android auto Maps or Waze in my NC is also pretty good. CX5, almost utterly useless.

Full manuals here https://www.mazda.co.uk/owners/videos-and-manuals/ including satnav.

It’s actually pretty good for setting up a route with waypoints. The bad part of that is that you have to do it at the start of a journey and can’t import/keep a library of routes.

Some loathe it, I find if you persist with it it’s actually pretty reasonable.

Provided the maps are up to date, i find it faultless, although it took me a while to decide on the best route option - shortest, quickest etc.

I generally use Mazda Nav, I tried Google using Car Play last week and couldn’t get on with it. It’s what you’re used to.

I’ve updated mine now and it seems fine so far. I am thinking of upgrading to Apple car -play

Maybe I need to update it and try again. We have genuinely had issues where an address was set as the destination, and about two miles from where we needed to be the car decides that you have arrived. So it is out with the phone and get Google maps to finish the job.

Get car play unit,
