NB prefacelift, without electric windows.
As always things are never straightforward. Removed the 5 screws holding the console in place, and the gear knob. The rear of the console is loose, but there is a resistance at the front by the tombstone. Removed the gear shift surround and found the lower two tombstone screws loose. Thought these may be catching, but on tightening the resistance remains. It feels like there are two clips holding the console in place. Any ideas. Does it just need brute force?
