NB Double Din head unit install

I’m attempting to install an Atoto double din head unit to my NB, but need to remove the outer trim around the whole stereo/heating control to remove the bar across the middle of the 2 dins i’m wanting to use. Do I need to remove the whole centre console to do this or is there an easier way?

In NC cars you remove the centre piece (where the gear stick and handbrake live), once removed that provides access to the screws for the 2 triangle pieces at the sides, which in turn allow access to the fascia screws.

I managed to get the 2 screws out without removing the console. Then realised I’m fitting a USB port in the arm rest storage area so needed it off anyway :joy:
