My daughter has recently brought a Mk2, so unfortunately I can’t compare it to my Mk3… but her’s has been fitted with a somewhat micky mouse steering wheel which we’d like to switch back to an original one complete with airbag.
Pulled the current wheel off yesterday to see what lurked behind that I’d need to deal with, and at least got the auto cancel of the indicators to work again getting the one remaining lug on the plastic rotary bit into the aftermarket hub. Now looking at the pic I think the yellow clock spring and wheel is all I need - the airbag wire looks to still be intact with a resistor in it that I can remove.
does that look right to those who know what is supposed to be there ??
