Like you I had the iPod dock with 30 pins, in the glove box, also like you I wanted Bluetooth for Music from iTunes, amazon music, and Spotify. I also did not want to have anything visible and if possible to keep the steering wheel buttons for track advance etc. so I went with a Bovee 1000. however, as has been pointed out the “OlD” 30 pin dock does not have sufficient power to charge iPod,phone and the Bovee so I also added a cable jack to sort the power issue. along with the Bovee 1000, I have everything I wanted including keeping the steering wheel controls all hidden in the glovebox.
