I know the 6 speed gearbox had some revisions for the 2009 mk 3.5 but have there been any changes to the 5 speed over the years? As far as I can gather the gear ratios have remained the same on all NC 5 speed gearboxes. Also, how can this gearbox be easily identified, do they all have the N7 sticker on them?
I might have low mileage one but need to confirm
I have looked on the parts site and I cannot find a parts number for a replacement gearbox only the parts. Probably Mazda Dealers have access to a screen that allows purchase of complete units. It seems very strange you there is no parts number for a complete box.
I have checked the gearbox case and a few 1st and 2nd gear change internal parts etc and all the parts numbers are the same for the for both the NC1 and NC2.
