NC Alloy wheel colour match

Hi,

Can anyone offer any advice on a colour match for my alloys, I’m looking to do some patch repairs on scuffs and corrosion under the lacquer.

Rather than have to prep and paint the whole wheel I’m looking to keep the time element down. Ideally if anyone has done the same refurb work and has a colour match for an aerosol paint that they could pass on that would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Jeff

At least you have the standard silver, don’t know a paint code but I am sure someone will be along with it.

Personally i would get them fully redone the mazda finish on wheels is very poor and eventually more will fail. The other issue with wheels and more so like that is blending clear in with a full refurb it is less likely to have problems.

But ultimately the choice is yours the above is the exact reason why top refurbers only do full wheels.

I asked my Mazda dealer and was told there is no paint code for alloy wheels. I bought a silver touch up from Halfirds. Not great close-up but it will do pro tem.

Hi Cliveju,

Thanks for coming back with the reply from Mazda, I have 3 cars with alloys that all need a bit of attention, so hopefully any paint bought not right will be suitable for the other wheels.

Had a price of full refurb at £82 per corner which at the moment my wallet wont stretch to, but a fair price all the same.

Cheers
