NC Aux Cable

hi, my Aux cable on my NC Bose system ICE has come disconnected and I can’t seem to work where the socket is behind the glovebox to reconnect it - any suggestions greatly appreciated.

It connects to the rear of the head unit, on the bottom on the glove box side, it’s a fiddle to connect with the head unit in place but can be done, I did it…

Try Google as I found some pictures which may help.

Good luck

I dint even know there was an AUX cable. I assume it ends with a 3.5mm jack plug for an iPod etc. but where does that usually live ?

I think I’m right in saying that it lives on the MK3 but not on the MK3.5

Cheers chaps, problem solved. There was a little black box plugged into the back of the head unit which had a connection for the aux cable.

On a mk 3.5 it’s next to the power outlet. This is very handy cos you can plug a bluetooth receiver into the power socket and its accompanying 3.5mm plug into the aux socket.

Hey presto !  All the music from your phone or bluetooth player comes out crystal clear (and loud) from the BOSE audio. Total outlay about £8
