NC buying advice please

So I am looking at getting one of these. I would prefer a NA but ulez is a pain. I realise everyone talks about rust but other than bubbling how can I check if it’s good bad or indifferent?

Also are there any meets around NW London at all?

Buy the book on MX5s Mk3 by Oliver Wild on ebay etc.
Masses of info there on what to watch out for etc and loads of great photos
