Has anyone bought the Jass Performance frankenstein bolts before? Do they fit as well and as properly as the OEM ones and does the hardtop secure to them properly too?
I cannot BELIEVE the original ones cost nearly £100 for the pair… Obscene.

Just wanted to re-flag this in the hope someone might be able to help…
Surely someone here must have bought these?!
Seems to be the OEM @£25 each (but I might be wrong)

I mean its not rocket science Its just a machined part on a bolt. If I remember correctly I could adjust the hardtop fitment on my NA. I wouldn’t worry about it buy either but you probably need to adjust the hardtop fitment anyway.
Don’t if your already sorted but might these be good enough ? :~
There is a lot more involved in making one of those than you realise. Knowing what I know about having low volume special parts made I’d say the Jass ones are good value as are the Ebay ones.
Yeah I saw those, the heads aren’t in the best of condition though, that’s why I’m wanting to replace mine.
Yeah I’m going to go with the JP ones
I was referring to the shape of the thing, IMHO its not difficult to measure, draw up and replicate. It was not about the price. I completely understand the difference between low volume special part manufacture vs mass production.
No it is. Drawing something is a lot easier than making it.
