NC front hubs

Hi all

Planning on replacing front hubs on my NC.

Mazda OEM price a bit hefty.

Options I’ve come across are

Ridex , blueprint and abs (all brake systems) as well as numerous eBay offerings.

Anyone used any of the above ? Any thoughts

Thanks in advance

I bought aftermarket hubs for my NC from MX-5 heaven they seemed good quality but sadly they have closed down now.

One here, they sell quality parts, always been reliable.

You could ask mx5parts when they expect more stock of the aftermarket hubs in.

I just used these guys for front upper arm retaining bolts….. genuine and cost £4.56 each opposed to £12 ISH each elsewhere.

What about the febi/bilstein offering at £84 from autodoc or £61.17 each inc vat at partsinmotion

Yeah , I’m just wondering about reliability, build quality of the various options

Got a pair of Febi from CarPartsInMotion on ebay. £92 for both after 20% off. They’ve currently got a 15% deal, so £99.74.

Haven’t got round to fitting them yet right enough so can’t comment further. Always worth checking them on ebay rather than direct on the site, especially start/end of month when they seem to do decent % discount codes.

I got Ridex bearings from Autodoc for another car once upon a time. One fell apart in my hands before I’d attempted fitting it. I returned them both for Blueprint and one of those failed after 6 months - still bought their drop links for the NC though.

Yeah I saw the offer you’ve mentioned and ordered them (febi)

As you stated just under £100 per pair delivered.
