NC Manifold

So has anyone been failed on there MOT due to not having 2 cats, or have the testers not noticed.

Trying to decide if I go for a non-cat job, or bite the bullet and go for a BBR With a cat.

Thanks

What counts is an MoT on your car, not an MoT on another car. Plus, if it does fail, these days it’s on the electronic record, so you can’t just go somewhere else and hope it passes.

There must be plenty of cars out there with this problem. You ideally need the 2 cat solution but a friendly tester told me he wouldn’t fail it as long as it passed the emission test(although he should) but claim the car had 2 cats when he tested it but must have been modified since. Couldn’t recommend this
