NC MX5 Manifold?

Hi All

I had been looking at one of the BBR upgrade kits for my NC as part of a series of upgrades I am doing. From what I have read the main element seems to be the manifold, and there are several companies who manufacture upgraded manifolds that don’t impact the ability to pass MOT etc.

I am wondering if it’s simpler to just upgrade this rather than spending the £2100 on a BBR 200 conversation, and wondering if anyone has any experience of this.

You can buy a £150 manifold, This will get rid of the first cat, you will still have one in the mid pipe. You will get it tuned and that will get you about 180bhp and they will turn off any warning lights for O2 sensor. You will still get through the MOT as most testers just look for at least one cat.
