NC paint hard or soft for DA polishing?

Hi, I am in the process of getting my Moms 2006 NC looking a little fresher…

Paint overall is pretty good just the usual swirls and scratches a 18 year old car picks up.

More used to working on BMW with super hard paint but I suspect Mazda maybe a little softer and thinner, looking for some suggestions on cutting compounds for a low risk DA polish on a 5?

I use autosmart evo1 finecut and use a Paint Coating Thickness Gauge Meter to be safe

Mazda paint is very thin. A dent removal kit i got had different glue for Japan/Mazda cars due to this.
