After fitting an IL Motorsport stainless manifold, the NC failed its MoT because of emissions. I then started searching for an ECU tuner to get a remap done. I thought that was going to be relatively easy but it wasn’t ( long story ). I was eventually told that Shaun at Edinburgh Remaps is the guy to talk to. He was very helpful and had the job done in less than two hours. The 5 passed its MoT this morning without problems. It was tested straight after I dropped it of with a warm engine. On the previous test the car was cold. Maybe it would have passed first time round if the engine and CAT was hot? I don’t know. I wanted to get the ECU remapped anyway to get the best out of the exhaust modification.
