Just picked up a Hyundai coupe space saver spare wheel for my NC1. Really good condition hub with an unused tyre for £30. It fits in the boot with space to spare.
I’ve seen posts that say you shouldn’t fit them to the rear of the car to protect the diff which makes sense but I’ve also seen a post that says you should ONLY fit them to the rear! Which is correct?

I carry bungee straps so the flat wheel can go in at an angle and rest on the boot lip and the boot can be strapped down.
If nothing else it will be useful to put on the car while parked letting me get any tyre issues sorted rather than leave it on axle stands.
Advice in the NBFL handbook is only fit the space saver to the front axle. IMHO it’s worth getting a boot rack to get a punctured tyre to a garage, even if the punctured tyre fits in the boot, it probably won’t if you are travelling on holiday.
