To be fair… Just looking back at my paper work for the quotes Mazda gave me for the front cowl grommet leak, I asked about moisture under the carpet in the boot and they said it’s probably blocked rear drains that need clearing. - £316 they quoted me for that job.
I looked up online that with the wire brush from MX5 parts for like £7 you can attempt to clear them yourself if your lucky not to have them completely clogged. Thankfully mine were not.
Not sure if that’s solved the moisture build up though… More investigation needed.
I got my rear drain’s done last year . At MX5 restorer’s cost £38.00 for both side’s , Done the front my’self replaced the felt under the N/S/R carpet as it was wet and fell apart.
Reminds of the quote I got from a Vauxhall dealer to take off a stubborn locking wheel nut.
I had a puncture (slow) and couldn’t get the alloy off because of a chewed up wheel nut
Labour £75 minimum, if they couldn’t get it off they would need to summon a local engineer to do it, so add another £175.
Locking wheel key £28, mine was screwed plus whatever a new wheel nut was. Also £15 for a puncture repair.
I bought a new locking wheel key and took it to my local garage. He got his long breaker bar on it and cracked it off first time.
Loosened off the rest of the locking nuts, took the offending alloy off and repaired the puncture, he charged just £10 for all.
The hair dryer is usually found beneath the passenger seat or in the glove box
Wasted on me. Very little hair.
Its the heated seats which sold it to my partner. Sport nav has Tom Tom - updating is a pain. Make sure you buy an intermittent wiper stalk as they didn’t come with one. Good Luck
I was able to order one a couple weeks ago from a place in Lithuania. Paid £28.50 + £9 postage.
That is an indicator stalk.
You need the WIPER stalk that has variable intermittent on it.
Usually from an RX8
True. It came with the intermittent wiper stalk. It was the only way I could fine one. It came off and RX8.
I think that those are " useful" ebay suggestions you’re looking at. Hopefully.
On Ebay for £21.98 free postage from china.
Indeed, especially if you differentiate the pounds from the pence .
