- My model of MX-5 is: NC 2007
- I’m based near: Camberley, Surrey
- I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: _ wheel alignment and tracking.
Hello all.
Since buying my “new to me” NC model in September, I have done a whole load of work on it and spent way too much (wife doesn’t know, as I have a separate bank account for the toy.)
The car came to me with Yellow Speed Racing Pro Sport coilovers, Rota wheels with Toyo Proxes TR1 225/45 17 tyres.
The previous owner had lowered the ride height without rolling the wheel arches and caused a lot of rubber side walls to be cut up on the rear. Since getting the car I have rolled the wheel arches and replaced the damaged rear tyres with Uniroyal Rain sports.
As the previous owner lowered the car without rolling the arches, I’m not sure if he checked the alignment and tracking of the wheels.
The car drives fine but with slight pull to the left in straight line.
Question to the many experts here:
Could you please recommend a tyre centre or garage that could deal with alignment and tracking for this car?
What would be the settings for occasional fast road use?
Thank you.
