@chrishart the part number comes up as NP32-68-3X0 02.
There seems to be a change from September 1st 2012 production, VIN serial number 350567, where the soft top went from having an NE51 part number to the NP32 part number and the Roadster Coupe went from having an NE52 part number to also having the NP32 part number.
From what I can work out, the NE51/NP32 part is without the “pen holder” and the NE52 is with the “pen holder”.
Clear anything up?

The guy on ebay sold me an early hard top deflector rather that the one off of the 25th anniversary edition he was breaking. I guess it could have been swapped before he bought it as a wreck

If it’s the eBay seller that I’m thinking of, he was advertising a number of parts as having come from a 25AE he was breaking, when they very obviously were not. Steering wheel with wrong buttons, lack of red stitching on some trim items, etc.
Im guessing it is indeed him. I cant really be arsed to go back to him to be honest. The original site said returns accepted. The order said no returns. I think I will just sell it on but advertise it as coming from a mk3 or 3.5 hard top convertible. I will get most of what i paid back and at least im being honest with whoever buys it.
Anyone on here in need of one “reasonably priced”
