Nc2 prht roof lock rattle (near wind breaker)

The roof lock that holds roof in place when down is rattling, when roof is up. It is the hook between seats behind windbreak looked every where, most searches come with front latch or hook. If any one has fix would be gratefull. Thanks

Hard Top Knocking Noises

Hmm, two things come to mind as possibles, but they are not the only possibilities. See this picture below. The chrome-dome bolts work loose on the deck mechanism, either side. I secured mine with a touch of Medium thread-lock and it cured the problem. Red arrow points to it. The “roof hook” cable might be wrongly adjusted or loose. Orange arrow points to it. Also there is a clip securing the cable partway along its run that sometimes is lost or loose, accessible but awkward to photo without dismantling a few bits.
