I’m heading to the south of France on a roadtrip in September, driving my NC2 over on the Shuttle and then down to Provence for around 10 days.
I’ve got my Crit’air sticker, UK badge, some high viz vests for me and the wife.
Just wondered if anyone had any advice, especially on best Euro Breakdown cover ?

Been in Spain/Portugal with friends and they have had to use it twice, pesky punctures!

If you’re an RAC member check if you can upgrade your membership to include Europe.
I did this for our Spain/Portugal trip in June and the upgrade was a very reasonable £28 or thereabouts……this came about because my membership renews in October, so I was merely upgrading for the remainder of my ‘membership year’…… They will include this in my renewal quote, so I may need to amend this.
Hope that explanation makes sense.

ASDA Breakdown were amazing when we broke down in Germany. 100% recommendation.
They’ve been great in the UK since too.

Thanks David, I’m with the RAC - got it as part of the purchase, so I’ll try them first.
The RAC do a great checklist on their website for driving on the continent, well worth a look

Can’t help with breakdown cover, it’s included with the insurance here in France but if you don’t have a Telepeage box to cover Autoroute tolls I would strongly recommend that.Saves messing around with coins or cards;just drive straight through and pay at the end of the month. If you don’t use it there is no charge when you do use it there is a one or two euro fee for each month that it is used.
At the moment ULYS have got a promo on, there is no charge for the box (they call it a badge) and it can be upgraded to cover Spain and Italy.
When and where do you expect to be in Provence, we shall be there in late Sept early Oct at the end of The Route des Grandes Alpes In company with a couple of Merc SLKs
