Some interesting development on the US side,
A chap has been making some very useful 3D printed parts for the ND, and turned his hand to an intake system.
The result, is that the OEM washer bottle is removed as that is the optimal place for a new airbox, where it can get cool air from the front straight into the engine bay. (washer bottle can be relocated very cheaply - i spent about £15 on mine).
I picked this up myself and run some testing on it with the EcuTek, and did back to back runs checking temps with it vs the OEM airbox. under full power pulls it drastically dropped the intake temps vs the OEM. win!
Well the creator has just had Fab9 do an indepenant dyno on a bone stock ND2, and they recorded bhp increases!
Well worth a read and a look for those interest. From what i know, this may be the only independant test. (a couple ive seen mentioned i never fond the data for, such as the takeda intake).

Dyno charts on page 19.
The intake in my car (washer bottle not yet refitted).
and a couple of low rpm rev blips to pick up the RHD sounds, as its right in front of the driver.
’DMarino’ who makes it has all sorts of how tos, and the stuff behind it, and sound clips if you have a look.
Thought it might be of interest. As its not a main brand item its not on the likes of MX-5 parts, bofi, etc. It would likely go quite unnoticed to the UK guys.
the guys store can be found in Etsy. (but, dont forget to add customs prices)
