It’s the big 16 pin connector on the BCM and a 16 pin connector on the harness, these can get mixed up, not the connectors on the BCM.
The connector highlighted by the red dot on the photo below is the 16x2 pin connector on the BCM.
The connector highlighted by the red dot on the diagram below is a 16x2 pin wiring harness connector.
These plugs are interchangeable, not something I learned from experience but I know a man who did. Check the wire colours and make sure that you have the right plug in the BCM and the harness. I’m guessing that you would have disconnected both to remove the BCM.
