ND Fuel Filler Lid Lift

Hi I fuelled up the other day and found the spring part of the fuel filler lift part in the recess, just ordered another one from MX5 parts (complete) just wondering if anyone had any pictures of how they fit?

it still opens just dont know how this fits in?

Hi M,
I have given you the exploded diagram that shows all the parts (including the spring) and their location plus the instructions to remove the lid so I can do no more.
If you are not happy removing the lid and following the diagram then perhaps the garage is the best place to help you.
