Hi Malc, I was advised to check out MyRouteapp.com. You can indeed create bespoke and download routes, using various formats, Garmin, Tom Tom & Here (The latter I am led to believe is what Mazda use on their Sat Navs, but yet to confirm). It is a subscription service, but if it takes the stress out of planning routes for groups (yes you can email and copy routes to friends), and it will upload to our Sat Navs it would be really useful. My only issue with the app from what I have read, is that you do not appear to be able to print off route directions (to hand out). There are quite a few other apps out there, but this one was recommended by a member who plans routes for his driving holiday business. For the time being, I am going to do as suggested by KJ and use the app on my phone (subscription required) and connect via Android Play and see how I get on. Hopefully when the route is started on the app, I will a minimum of the voiced directions through the car speakers. I will sort thsi in the next few days.
