Yes they are a direct replacement for standard wheels. I run 20mm spacers all round so had wheelbase drill me pockets to accept the spacers, see attached. The standard 30AE wheels have pockets already in them.
No, just the Fronts. The previous owner was preparing the car as a track-day toy when he got Cancer! So he traded it in for a Corvette & went touring Europe!!
So when I bought it, it had been to BBR for the 220, complete with catted 4 branch header & back box. It was wearing Toyo RRR tyres on the OE rims which are now sat in the garage. Its also got full front end PPF.
I have added a set of Tein coil-overs. He also added the floating front discs & little things like powder coating the rear brakes that Mazda didn’t bother doing! & getting it undersealed, its only done 10,000k & is just a weekend toy really & won’t be seeing any trackways, my Wife tells me they those days are behind me!
I looked into importing a set of those front and rear brake discs a while ago. Even after Black Friday discount, factoring in delivery from the US, stamp duty, VAT and finally new brake pads, I couldn’t justify it at the time considering they would be consumable.
Wouldn’t surprise me if I change my mind in the future
I’m hoping SuperMiata would eventually modify their competing brake discs to be Brembo compatible since they’re even lighter and cheaper. You should try pestering them as I already have
