ND Underseal - DIY

I’m doing some underseal on my ND at home.

I’m planning on using Bilt Hamber Dynax UB, UC and S-50. I had a look at this cool post from a while ago.

Mk4 Underseal How To

Pictures seem to be missing, but you can see them with a vpn.

Was wondering if there were any updates or tips and tricks that people might have.

What’s the best way to inject S-50 into the sills? Do you remove the lower cavity bung? Or do you remove the door sill plate and inject from above? Does the door sill plate just pull off?

Any other tips? Ta

I will download and re-link the pics at some point, we did the sills from underneath through the bung holes.

When Krown did my ND in Tipton they removed the side skirts/panels altogether and injected the product, just know that removing them will result in some clips being broken (there is no way to avoid it) so you should have some replacements purchased before hand.

I’d rather not remove the side skirts, if I can help it.

You are best using a compressor. You NEED to remove all four wheel arch liners and the liners in the boot. Remove as many bungs as you can see.
Then you inject your chosen product through every crevice and hole you can see using a long ‘wand’.
Be prepared to get very messy.

I am considering Krown. Feedback please on them and the product used. Thanks
