ND1 Part Identification

  1. My model of MX-5 is: ND1

Hi all. Is anybody able to identify this part?

Sadly on a recent drive I was unable to dodge the remains of a deer and some of it hit the underside of the car and took off this piece. It’s very thin metal and appears to sit a bit behind the front wheels. I’ve not been able to get properly underneath the car yet but it didn’t appear to be covering anything particularly fragile.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Looks like some of the metal from the centre brace, nothing to worry about in terms of driving the car, but it should obviously be there.

I just rivetted mine back together as was loosing the spot welds. Not difficult but a lot of rivets.
