ND2 CTEK trickle Charger

Hi Girls and Boys

I have read in the US forums about CTEK tricke chargers not suitable for MX5 ND2 with ELOOP anyone had any issues or advice?

As did I - no issues.

thank you did yourND2 have stop-start and was working ok after? Did you attach the charger directly to the battery in situ in the car?

There is Mazda Service Information sheet regarding i-stop batteries which I can send to you. If you send me a private message with an email address I will oblige.
I use a cheap smart charger and have not had any issues in 2 years.
My conclusion after much research is that should the battery become very discharged then a ‘normal’ recharging system will not be successful as they do not have the required ‘oomph’ to complete the task. For maintaining a nearly full battery that is in good order then the modern smart chargers seem to do the job.

No Problems in the last two years and 7 months using the Ctek charger MXS 10

YHM or at least you should have. It might be a good idea to remove your email address from your post but it is up to you.
