need a COC, certificate of conformity

hello

please, can some one give me a link from Mazda where i can get a COC to register the car in my country , France

Also  if you can Tell me How Much it cost, and How long it takes to have it

thank you

a future Mazda owner

Found this:

http://www.dvlaadvice.co.uk/certificate_of_conformity.htm

and this

https://www.coc-europe.com/blog/tag/certificate-of-conformity-mazda-en/

Merci beaucoup,

I Will look right now

So, for the feed-back

I checked the two links

  1. Private Who charges 65 pound, cheaper i have seen

2 private charges 130

And i Also find Mazda , they charge. 85

I wonder How an independant can charge less than Mazda uk, as he must ask them to provide it

Thx

I used to work for a truck manufacturer and if a dealer asked for a CoC it was free or low cost to them as it was easy to get it made available to them. If we were asked by private individuals for copies, additional work was involved and we generally charged more because of the adhoc nature of the work. Therefore it could realistically be cheaper to get it from the dealer.

cheers

When me moved to France 5 years ago we needed a COC for our Honda Accord. Our local Honda dealer where we lived in the UK posted one to us for free.

Bon chance mon amie …

I would have thought depends on country of origin, and if you buy privately or from an independant garage. If you bought a new or second hand car from a Mazda Dealer in France then the car should automatically have a C.O.C. surely? (copy not required)

Also -worth considering, second hand UK cars are cheaper in ratio to equivalent cars in France, but obviously are right hand drive, so that depends whether you are happy enough to drive a R/H car in a L/H country?
So - same as above in my opinion.

Not sure what the situation is with Eunos roadsters. I would assume that’s difficult, as Japanese imports seem to be barred in France. I stand to be corrected on that point.

Hi

CoC from Mazda UK are free for the first owner, £85.00 for subsequent owners.

Coc from Mazda France are €150.

Mazda UK have just given me a free one as I explained to them the problems I had had with a partial CoC Mazda France had sold to me for €150. I think they felt sorry for me.

I have the direct Email address for the person who sends them out in the UK. Pm me if you are interested.
