Lullington open Gardens Weekend and Car Show Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th June. Lullington is a lovely village to visit. Over the weekend many of the open gardens sell cakes and refreshments and there will be stalls selling Bacon sandwiches, ice cream van etc. There is a village Pub which will be open.

If you would like to book your MX5 in for this event, please print and complete the entry form and hand it to Tracey at the next Coopers Arms meeting or see Tracey for a form.

Anyone struggling to print or fill out the details text me or WhatsApp your details and I will fill out the form. I am going over tomorrow pm to drop off another form if you can let me know early enough I can take them all together. 07791068041

I have received the passes for the show, I will hand them out at The Coopers meet on 27th to anyone who has booked a place. If you are not there no worries they can be handed out on the day.

On the Sunday In order to keep us all together on the field I propose we meet up at The Beehive Farm, Lullington Rd, Rosliston DE12 8HZ, this is 5 mins drive from Lullington, we need to leave there no later than 9.55am.

There are only 3 cars going on Saturday, this is not so busy so should be no problem keeping together, we can meet at the show. DE12 8EQ anytime after 10am.

Is there food and toilets, or do we bring a picnic

You can bring a picnic but there is a burger/bacon sarnie stand and ice cream van in the field plus cakes at a couple of the houses, refreshments in the village hall and the pub is open.

Reminder for those coming tomorrow, meeting at The Beehive Farm, Lullington Rd, Rosliston DE12 8HZ at 9.30am. I have car passes for those that weren’t at the meeting on Thursday. We will leave the Beehive at 9.45 for the 5 mins drive to the show field.

There are various refreshments available…burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, cakes, ice cream etc but feel free to bring your own picnic. Toilets are available at different venues in the village.

It’s been a lovely day today, hopefully as good tomorrow.
