Christine and Hedley invite you to join them on a visit to Denby Pottery Village, Derby Road, Denby, Derbyshire, DE5 8NX, and then for a meal at The Bridge Inn, Duffield, Derbyshire, DE56 4BG.
Meeting at Denby Pottery Village Car Park at 9.30am, ready to have a factory tour at 10.00am, to experience the making of Denby Pottery products.
The tour takes approximately one and a half hours, and is accompanied by an experienced tour guide. Denby Pottery stated that visitors are split into groups of eight, and they could provide four tour guides, making a total of 32 visitors.
The cost of the tour around the factory is £15.00 each, and £13.30 each for concessions (age 60 and over). FULL PAYMENT FOR THE TOUR IS REQUIRED BY FRIDAY 11TH OCTOBER
After the tour there will be approximately one hour or more, to look around the Pottery Village shops, where Denby Pottery products can be bought, or there is a farm shop, cafe and small garden centre.
We will be leaving at approx 1.30pm, to take a drive of about 26 miles, around a few Derbyshire roads, to arrive at 2.45pm, at The Bridge Inn for our meal.
The Bridge Inn is limited to 32 people and requires a £5.00 deposit per person. The Inn will prepare your meal of choice from the menu on the day, so no pre-order is required.
