Long story, but having replaced my OEM back box with a new (MX5 Parts) S/S one, which seems to have blown all the silencing material out the exhaust, my car is due for an MOT next week and I may need a re-usable OEM box to replace it - new MOT reg’s apparently now specify sound levels. Will try to collect over this weekend. It is urgent. PM me if anyone has one.
Would a Mk1 catback fit and do it for now?
Is it silencer material though? At one point had a lot of white material being thrown out, which was the cat matrix (there was a dent on the cat casing).
