URGENT RESPONSE RRQUIRED

Please could I remind anyone that wishes to come to the golf club on our run to Shropshire that I need payment for the buffet paying in by 18th MAY. At the moment we only have five couples confirmed which will not be enough for me to proceed with the booking. I’ve already paid a deposit for this, which I may lose. If I do not have enough people to attend I will need to cancel the booking.

I will post further details of the plans for the day soon.

I’ve now finalised the booking at Shrewsbury golf club, they have told me we can add to the booking up to Friday 30th so if anyone wishes to be included for this let me know asap. Anyone just wishing to do the drive feel free to add your name to the post.

We will be meeting at Appleby Magna McDonald’s, DE12 7AP and will be leaving at 10:00 a.m. If anyone wishes to have breakfast prior to leaving, please make sure you’re there in plenty of time. We will then make our way to Bridgenorth Garden Centre where there is a cafe, toilets and shopping. From here we continue up over the Longmynd, over the Stiperstones and aiming to get to Shrewsbury Golf Club for approximately 3:30 p.m. Anyone not having the buffet feel free to stop for drinks. We are close to the main roads/M54 for your journey home, however I have done a route back to Barton Marina, if anyone wants to continue with that then feel free to join us.

Look forward to a good drive with beautiful scenery, fun roads and hopefully sunshine.
